Workshop: Writing Your Hero's Journey with Barbara Bartocci

From Odysseus to Oz, the greatest stories describe the hero's journey of discovery, showing how life's events—both the good and the bad—can bring the gift of heightened self-awareness and inner power.

Whether you want to write your hero's journey for publication, for a family legacy, disguised as fiction, or for your own self-discovery, this class is for you.

We will

  • Look at the six archetypes that make up the hero’s journey:

  • Innocent, Orphan, Wanderer, Warrior, Martyr, Magician

  • Examine where you are on the hero’s journey

  • Discuss how to structure your story to find its message and meaning.
