Writers Judith Towse Roberts and Phyllis Galley Westover will share their works on the theme "Insights in the Rear-view Mirror."
Judith Towse Roberts’ writing has appeared in many literary magazines as well as in Chicken Soup for the Mother’s Soul. Her book of poems, Chrysanthemums I Once Thought Sweet, was a finalist in the Thorpe Menn competition. She directs In Our Own Words – an innovative writing program focused on students in urban areas who are at-risk academically and socially.
Phyllis Galley Westover’s writing has appeared in magazines, newspapers and six anthologies. She received Boulevard’s Fiction Award, and she was a finalist for the Iowa Award in Literary Nonfiction. Two documentary films she wrote aired on public television. Her children’s book, Sold to the Highest Bidder, was published in 2013.
