Gabriela Ybarra Lemmons received her MFA in Creative Writing at the University of Kansas. Her work appears in Primera Pagina:Poetry from the Latino Heartland, Cuentos: Stories from the Latino Heartland, New Border Voices: An Anthology, and other fine publications. A co-founder and current president of the Latino Writers Collective, Gabriela is also a Macondo Writers’ Workshop Fellow.
Shirley Rickett’s work has been published in over 30 journals and anthologies such as New Letters, Nimrod, and Antietam Review. Anthologies include From A to Z: 200 Contemporary American Poets, editor, David Ray, Voices from the Interior: Poets of Missouri, editor, Robert Stewart, and many others. She is the author of three chapbooks, A Minute of Arc, (Dam Poets Press), Dinner in Oslo (Aardvark Global Publishing) and Love: Poems for Vintage Song Titles (Finishing Line Press). Rickett holds masters’ degrees in Education and English, and she leads workshops on revision and critique.
